When Lisa first walked into Vision Personal Training, it wasn’t even a studio yet. 

It was a construction site.

But standing there in May 2025, just metres from her home, she made a decision that would completely change her life.

She didn’t overthink it. 

She didn’t wait for the ‘perfect time.’ 

She took action.

And that decision has led to one of the most powerful transformations we’ve seen.

 

From Unfit to Unstoppable

Lisa will be the first to tell you, this wasn’t just about weight.

“I was soooo unfit. Not just overweight. Even the short walk to the gym meant stopping at least once on the way.”

Fast forward to now, and that same person is training consistently, pushing herself in sessions, and even becoming a regular in group classes.

What started as a struggle just to show up has turned into a routine, and more importantly, an identity.

Lisa doesn’t just go to the gym anymore.

She’s someone who trains.

More Than a Gym, A Community

What made the difference wasn’t just the training.

“The trainers and members became more like friends. I had found a whole new community.”

From early morning PT sessions in the middle of winter to group classes and challenges, Lisa kept showing up. Not perfectly, not without effort, and definitely not without a few “dramatic moments” as she puts it, but consistently.

And consistency changes everything.

 

The Moment Everything Shifted

Lisa joined the Lean for Life Challenge earlier this year, again without overthinking it.

That decision accelerated everything.

“I am now lighter and so much fitter… I spend a lot of time on that bike!”

But underneath the physical changes, something much bigger was happening.

The Real Transformation

Lisa didn’t just lose weight.

She changed her priorities.

“The whole experience has been life changing. Not just because I have lost weight. Because to do that, I had to prioritise me, for the first time in my adult life.”

That’s the part most people don’t see.

The early mornings. The discipline. The decision, over and over again, to put herself first.

 

Becoming Someone New

At the beginning, Lisa didn’t have a clear goal weight.

And she still doesn’t.

Because this was never just about a number.

“I didn’t want it to just be going to the gym and tracking my food… I wanted to be Lisa, who works out. I wanted being fit and healthy to just be who I am.”

And now, that’s exactly who she is.

 

This Is Just the Start

Stronger. Fitter. Healthier.

And most importantly, a completely different mindset.
