Ingredients
1 serving- 100g Fat Free Bacon, Diced
- Spray Oil Olive Oil
- 2 Medium Shallots, Thinly Sliced
- 2 Large Broccoli Heads
- 1 Apple
- 30g Dry Roasted Almonds, Chopped
- 30mL Japanese Sesame Mayo Dressing
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degreed Celsius.
- Place a pan over medium-high heat, once the pan is hot add the oil and shallots to fry.
- Cook the bacon.
- Chop the broccoli stems along with the florets.
- Cut the apple into matchsticks and roughly chop the almonds.
- Add the broccoli into a large mixing bowl along with the dressing and toss until the broccoli is evenly coated. Then toss together with the apple, almonds and bacon.
- Serve with a lean piece of protein.
