What was your motivation for starting at Vision?
I had an initial chat with John (he approached me and bought me a coffee!), then with Paul in the studio. I was feeling weary as I was currently working out so hard but still slowly gaining weight. They seemed very knowledgeable, passionate and absolutely convinced that I would have results. So I was tempted to give it a try!
What have you accomplished on your journey?
As soon as I started with my trainer Vince at Vision, I worked out LESS than I had been. I also got lots of knowledge about weight gain and why it was happening. The weight literally melted off over a period of 6 months. I couldn't believe it.
How has it changed your life?
Not only am I 10kg lighter, I feel so much more knowledgeable and aware about my body now. I want to stress that this is quite unbelievable as I was someone who had worked out for many years and felt I ate healthily already.
What has been the hardest thing you've encountered during your journey?
Maintaining the weight once it came off. It's not easy and an ongoing awareness of what I'm eating every day is required.
What advice would you give others considering starting at Vision?
Get into a routine with your food diary. Big things happen over time from the constant little efforts you put in on a daily basis.
