I had a relatively simple reason for wanting to make a change. I had gradually put on weight over a 2 year period, I was uncomfortable in my clothes and sick of it. Age was another factor and both provided the motivation to actually do something instead of just thinking about doing it. Apart from losing weight I wanted to be more agile and stronger and I needed to change my mindset.
After listening to my constant whinging about my clothes not fitting Nathan encouraged me to come along to the gym. I joined Vision Sylvania and I'm glad I did. I became 'accountable' for my health and fitness. I have learned to make healthy choices with my food. I actually now want to be active. I look forward to and enjoy exercising, a first for me! With the support and guidance of my Trainer, Kate Hanrahan, I am fitter, stronger, more flexible and so energetic. I have surpassed my initial weight loss goal and now maintaining my ideal weight. I have participated in City to Surf and Blackmores which previously I would never have contemplated. I now have the strength and stamina to achieve these goals. The environment at Vision Sylvania is warm and friendly, the owners and Trainers are supportive, enthusiastic and dedicated to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals to change their lives for the better.
