Kai first joined Vision Pyrmont in April 2025 with a simple reason — he wanted to win a friendly challenge with his mate. There wasn’t a deep emotional reason behind it. No frustration in front of the mirror. No health issue pushing him to change. Just a goal he decided to take seriously.
At the start, his body weight was 101.9kg, with 28.7kg of body fat (28.1%), and a visceral fat level of 10. Strength training wasn’t his comfort zone, and endurance wasn’t his strength either. Even stretching felt uncomfortable. But Kai kept showing up.
He asked questions every single day — about food, about training form, about how to do things right. He wanted to understand why each detail mattered. He did his own research, tried different ideas, and slowly developed his own rhythm and style.
He began with 6–8 hours of light cardio each week — mostly easy walks on the cross trainer and treadmill. As his body adapted, perhaps out of curiosity or through his trainer’s encouragement, Kai started his group boxing journey. At first, he didn’t know how to punch properly. But week by week, his punches became stronger, sharper, and more confident. Everyone in the group could see how much he’d grown — not just physically, but in how he carried himself.
By late October 2025 — just six months later — his scan showed the result of all that work:
81.1kg, 12.4kg total fat (15.3%), visceral fat down to 6, and torso fat reduced to 7.0kg.
That means Kai lost 20.8kg in total body weight, 16.3kg of body fat, and reduced his visceral fat from 10 to 6 in just half a year.
But what stood out most was how Kai’s discipline influenced people around him. Through his own transformation and attitude, he inspired others to take action and start their own fitness journeys.
Kai began with a small goal, but what he built through that process — consistency, curiosity, and quiet leadership — is what truly makes his story special.
