"A couple of years ago my hairdresser encouraged me to try Vision PT after I told her that one of my doctors had suggested I add weights to my physical activities to improve my chances of living a long, healthy and active life. I had never stepped foot in a gym and was hesitant to do so - it just wasn’t me. But after procrastinating for several months, I put my toe in the water.
Despite a number of health setbacks I’ve achieved much more than I thought possible for someone my age. I have overcome my resistance to gyms and accountability to myself, I’ve been able to achieve and maintain my desired weight and body composition and I’ve learned how to set short-term goals to help me succeed in all aspects of my life. The combination of training at Vision PT, yoga, physical therapy and meditation has helped me build physical and mental flexibility, strength and balance.
I’m currently working towards gaining flexibility of my thoracic spine and overall consistency when it comes to form and the amount of weight I can safely handle."
