Karen Ferdarico

Karen joined us in 2023 with a clear goal to lose 20kg and begin a major lifestyle transformation. With consistency, commitment, and weekly guidance, she not only achieved that goal but went on to lose an incredible 30kg in just over a year.

What makes Karen’s story truly special is not just the weight she lost, but what she has maintained and built since. More than a year on, she has successfully maintained her 30kg weight loss and is now fitter and stronger than ever. Her blood pressure and other key health markers have improved significantly, and her confidence, energy, and overall wellbeing continue to grow.

Karen has taken her fitness beyond the gym, completing several long distance endurance events including the Sutherland to Surf Walk (11km), the Bloody Long Walk (35km), and most recently the Seven Bridges (28km) Walk alongside other members of our Vision PT Penrith community.

As a kindergarten teacher, Karen’s transformation has had an even greater impact beyond her own health. She is now more mobile, active, and engaged in her day to day work, allowing her to participate fully with her students. She has become a powerful role model, demonstrating the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle and showing young minds what is possible through consistency and effort.

Karen is a true pillar of our community. She shows up, stays disciplined, and continues to set new challenges to push her strength and fitness to new levels. She has inspired friends and family in her life to begin their own fitness journeys and aspire to become healthier. Her focus is no longer just on transformation, but on maintaining her progress and making the most of her body and her life.

We are incredibly proud of Karen and everything she has achieved, and we are excited to support her through the next chapter of her journey!
