For Kamala, training is about staying strong, energised, and capable so she can continue doing the things she loves.

An avid horse rider and proud grandmother of four, Kamala wants to maintain the strength, mobility, and fitness required to stay active, independent, and confident in her body.

“I want to stay strong and keep my energy up so I can continue riding and keep up with my grandchildren,” Kamala says.

Kamala trains twice a week with her trainer Bruna, focusing on strength training designed to support bone density, muscle strength, balance, and overall movement. Each session is tailored to help her feel confident in everyday life, on horseback, and with her family.

One of the most important parts of Kamala’s experience at Vision is her relationship with her trainer.

“I love how engaged Bruna is,” Kamala explains. “She really understands me, makes the sessions fun, and I genuinely enjoy coming in. I look forward to seeing her each week.”

That connection has made training something Kamala enjoys rather than something she feels obligated to do. The sessions are challenging but enjoyable, and Bruna’s ability to connect emotionally keeps Kamala motivated and consistent.

Through regular strength training, Kamala has improved her energy levels, built confidence in her body, and supported her long-term bone health. She feels strong, capable, and reassured knowing she is investing in her future health.

“Strength training gives me confidence,” Kamala says. “I feel good, I have more energy, and I know I’m doing something important for my long-term health.”

Now in her mid-60s, Kamala sees training as a way to protect her independence and maintain the lifestyle she values. Strength and bone health allow her to keep riding, stay active with her grandchildren, and enjoy life on her own terms.

Kamala’s story shows that personal training is not about changing who you are. It is about staying strong, energised, and capable for the life you want to keep living.
