Before joining Vision, I avoided mirrors in an attempt to ignore that I wasn't at my ideal weight. My priorities centred around being a mum and full-time work resulting in me feeling overwhelmed but unable to take any time out for myself. My weight was a physical reminder that I no longer felt like myself.
My husband signed me up for Personal Training and the welcoming, supportive team at Vision Bangor has kept me coming back. My Trainer did an amazing job of tailoring my sessions and driving me to my goals, even with the challenge of injury. Our sessions didn't seem like hard work and in no time the pre-baby clothes I'd thought would never fit again were actually too big!
It's difficult to list what I have gained from my weight loss but I've learning I don't need to avoid mirrors anymore! More importantly I feel like myself again, physically and mentally. My priorities now include personal goals and not only am I less stressed but it has given me a passion for exercise and healthy eating that I have shared with my family and friends.
