I'm a classic example of someone who, up until the age of 48, had remained naturally slim despite doing very little exercise and almost never having to watch what I ate. But come 2012 I noticed my weight slowly creep up and up at around the same time as my energy levels began to take a dive.
Friends suggested Vision at Lindfield and I can honestly say I've never regretted my decision to sign up. Over the last 11 years I've learned so much about the benefits of tracking my eating, regular exercise and generally leading a healthy lifestyle. But most importantly I went from someone who didn't have much confidence when it came to physical challenges to someone who now regularly signs up for long runs (I'm currently training for the September half marathon) and all day coastal walks.
To what do I credit this transformation? Well, it's a number of factors really: partly it's due to the positive and encouraging community of Vision clients that surround me, partly it's the clever way my trainers - I'm looking at you Ibi Sayd - introduce new elements to my weekly training so it never becomes boring, and partly it's the lure of a well earned coffee after a hard work-out at the gym.
To be honest, Vision is a big part of my busy life now and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to improve their physical and mental well-being. I don't think I'm being overly modest when I say: if they can transform me, they can transform everyone.
