1- Plan The most important part of managing festive FOMO is planning. Set out a plan so you know when social events are. Plan your training around these events. Poor planning leads to poor results.

2- Enjoy but don't over indulge Watching everyone around you eating and drinking as much as they like, it's easy to slip up and lose sight of your goals and end up over indulging and finding yourself in pile of regret. Have small amounts of discretionary foods, and enjoy it while you eat it but don't overdo it!

3- Don't go hungry. Eat before you go and you're far less likely to make bad decisions when you go out to eat.

4- Set realistic goals If your goals are to lose weight during the festive season it might be too hard to watch all the lovely food you will be giving up. Set realistic goals and you're more likely to stick to them.
