As cliché as it may sound, I made a new year’s resolution at the beginning of 2020 to get on top of my fitness. When I heard that my friend Dylan had joined the team at Vision, I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to get more serious about my fitness with Dylan as my trainer. Dylan and the rest of the team are all fantastic and great motivators. Vision is the perfect environment because it has been flexible, enabling me to balance exercise with uni and work commitments, and providing guidance and keeping me accountable with hitting my macros and eating cleaner. Despite Covid shutting all the gyms down in NSW for a few months, with the help of Dylan, I was still able to lose 12 kg since February through a combination of outdoor group training sessions and getting into running. I am very grateful to my trainer and the team for guiding me on my fitness journey, and I look forward to smashing more goals as I prep for my first half marathon in November.
