I sort of lost myself after I had a baby. I always exercised but suddenly my time, priorities and energy changed. While I went back to exercising, it wasn’t the same, I wasn’t as motived and nothing “worked” like it use to. Meanwhile, I was in a cycle of eating more sugar as I was tired. Months on I was heavier, less fit and needed a kick, so I signed up to the 9 Week Lean For Life Challenge.
I thought the best part was I could hand the motivation over to my trainer and team, I could outsource the part I just couldn’t get sorted and deal with. The funny part was, the team helped me find that motivation again. When one was down, we pepped each other up and in turn I found the old me. It taught me the right way to exercise and eat, it was a fun way of exercising and also having some me time. The weight loss was a bonus and I have found that having that team support really helped form better habits!
