7 Tips to help with weight loss

1. Regulate sleeping patterns. Set an alarm for the same time each morning.

2. Eat Protein with every meal.

  • Meat, Chicken, Fish and salad
  • Meat, chicken, Fish and veges
  • Tuna and Tabouli
  • Omelette
  • Piece of fruit

 

3. Limit Nuts to about 10 per day, whilst being healthy, nuts are very high in fat and therefore contain a lot of calories.

4. Drink at least 3 litres of water per day

5. Drink one full glass of water before each meal to aid digestion

6. Increase your incidental exercise. Ie use the stairs instead of the lift, walk short distances instead of driving.

7. Increase your meal frequency. Incorporate a morning and afternoon tea in between meals. Snacks include:

  • Yoghurt
  • Carrot or celery sticks
  • Nuts - once per day
  • Tuna
  • Protein shake - once per day
  • Protein bar - once per day
  • Handful of shaved meat
  • Cucumber sticks with guacamole or avocado dip.
