I joined Vision with one goal in mind: to focus on me. I wanted to lose weight and get stronger. My body responded faster than I could have imagined, and I dropped over 10kg, feeling better than I had in years. Then life took a beautiful turn—we found out we were pregnant.
With the support of my family and midwife, I decided to continue training. Rachel, my trainer, made adjustments to my program and diet to ensure everything was safe for both me and the baby. I kept at it, training all the way up until a week before Audrey's arrival.
After giving birth, I was eager to jump back into training, but Rachel reminded me that patience was key. “It took 10 months to create Audrey,” she said, “and your body has changed a lot. It’ll take time to heal and return to its new normal.”
Now, back at work once a week, my body has returned to where it was when I first began this journey—but with so much more gained along the way.
