Before joining Vision Personal Training, I was feeling overweight and unhealthy. I was unhappy with my body and the way my clothes were fitting on me, I was resisting to buy bigger sizes because I felt that the 'bigger me' was not the real me. I hated exercise and hated the gym even more, in fact I hadn't set foot inside a gym for more than 20 years. But I couldn't do it on my own, so I made the decision to join Vision. In the past, I had tried different strategies and diets to try and lose weight and keep it off. Some things worked for a while and then it would creep back on. It was discouraging and depressing working hard to lose weight and then putting it back on.
The first thing I discovered with Vision is that it's not like the other bigger gyms. Vision studios are smaller and friendlier, they have a more personal feel and the Trainers are all very positive and motivating. Vision provided me with a Trainer who was not only approachable but also very supportive. Together we created a food and training program that was suited to me. The biggest benefits for me has been my transformation, not only physically, but now I look forward to getting up early and starting my day with a group class.
