I joined the team at Wahroonga in January 2016, as I was unhappy with my weight and who I had become - it was the heaviest I had ever weighed.
I had tried going it alone and with my children at other gyms, but it wasn't working. With this in mind, I needed to do something for ME. I decided to enter the Weight Loss Challenge and with the support of my trainer, James and the other team members, I once again found my inner willpower to shed the weight.
With my trainer, we set a goal of 8kg over the 9 weeks. With training regularly, together with diet & other exercise, we smashed it and I lost over 10kg! I now go mountain bike riding regularly with my son and feel myself becoming fitter &healthier and more aware of what I eat & drink.
Needless to say, this is not the end of my journey, but the beginning. I'm excited about what the future will bring and the look forward to my continued training!
