1. How were things before you joined Vision? I was in the middle of my weight loss journey. I'd started to get into running after Covid shut down the gyms. After losing 15kgs and running 8kms, my weight loss started to plateau and I became demotivated. I started to go back to my unhealthy habits and knew I needed help to develop sustainable healthy habits that would last throughout my life.
2. Tell me about your recent training. My trainer Lexi has worked with me to achieve fitness goals that I never thought would be possible. She encouraged my love for running and I ended up completing a half marathon in 2021.
3. What results have you achieved lately? I ran in the half marathon and ran 21.1kms in 2.5 hours without stopping. This was a huge achievement for me as only 18 months prior, I could barely run 500 meters without having to stop and walk.
4. What would you tell someone who is wanting to join Vision? I've learned so much about nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices from my trainer. With the help of my trainer, I've also come so far with my fitness journey and I highly recommend Vision to anyone who needs the extra push to achieve their goals and learn more about developing sustainable goals.
