I had three babies in just under three years and never found time to lose the weight I gained with each pregnancy.
I felt frumpy and slow and my dress size was creeping up.
I decided I wanted to get back to my pre-baby weight but didn't really know how to go about it. I was never a gym person, and didn't have time to play a team sport.
I joined Vision on 1st March 2011 and set my goal to get back to my pre-baby weight. I met my trainer, every week and I was accountable for my weight and goals.
I learnt what to eat and when, in order to lose weight, as well as what to avoid. I weighed in every week and was always praised and encouraged. On the occasions I did put weight on, I was guided on how to make the following week better.
Vision gave me the opportunity to not only attend my Personal Training sessions but to use the equipment in my own time, participate in Group Training and special events, as little or as often as I wanted. At Vision, I never felt just like a number, all the trainers were friendly and personable.
8 months later, I had lost 17 Kilos, and fitted back into my wedding dress.
I feel lighter, fitter and healthier and have so many more clothing options. I continue to go to Vision to maintain my new weight and have made healthy eating and exercise part of my lifestyle.
My trainer, is very personable, encouraging and caring, she has become so much more than just a Personal Trainer. I could never have done it without her - Thank you to my Trainer - you helped me transform my life!
