John MusumeciJuly 04, 2025"I highly recommend Vision Personal Training at Five Dock. I have always valued my health and fitness but found that over the last few years, I was having troubles controlling... my weight despite exercising and eating healthy. My wife had joined in October 2023 and I saw the amazing results that she achieved going from "zero to hero' in terms of fitness and health, from never exercising to now thoroughly enjoying her training and experiencing all the health benefits. This inspired me to take the plunge and join in late January 2025, with lots of scepticism about whether I could achieve any results. My aim was to get healthy! Not quickly, but over the long-term. I had an initial consultation with Marcus where we discussed my lifestyle, habits and goals and he set my program to suit my needs. I never ever thought I would ever join a personal training program, but I am so glad I did. I have always been into exercise and sport, but had so much problems managing the nutritional side of the equation. I had read that keeping a healthy weight was 70% diet related because this was so difficult for me, I could never control my weight. I felt lethargic, moody and had no energy and this was really affecting me. Most of all, when your pants are tight, your shirts don't fit and you wear the same clothes because they're the only ones that fit, then you know you have a problem and that was me. Well, after 4 weeks I am incredibly, almost 6 kg lighter and feeling great. I have dropped 2 inches (1 pants size) and I'm now able to wear all of my clothes. In fact, some of my clothes now bother me as they are too big! Never ever thought I'd be saying that! However, the part I would like to stress to others considering a change in their life, is the help that I'm getting understanding the nutritional side of the equation. As I said, I never had a problem with the exercise component, but always struggled with the nutritional side. In this time with Vision PT, I have gained so much knowledge regarding the food I eat, how much to consume, what and when to eat. This has made a huge contribution to achieving my results. The other thing that is helped tremendously is the fact that both my wife and I are on the same journey and planning our meals is now a routine for us. I think it is so much easier when partners are on board with the nutritional side as it is less stressful and easier to control than if just 1 person is on the program. The other positive from this change is that my wife and I spend so much time together. Either at the Five Dock studio, on our walks or even playing squash together; something that I never ever thought we'd do together. I could go on and on, but take home message is that if you are having difficulties maintaining a healthy lifestyle or have health issues, I would consider Vision Personal Training as a serious option to help you get back on track. The lessons that you learn doing the program will stay with you for life so that you will not go back to those bad habits. Cheers, JohnSee more "

C SMay 07, 2025"I met my 9 week goals and found the personal training provided along with the vision personal training food and activity tracker a fantastic way to measure my progress and... stay focused. Matt, the trainer is very encouraging and knowledgeable. Matt ensured I always used the right techniques to ensure optimum results. I used to hate exercise but have now set another goal to improve my overall health and fitness. I highly recommend Vision personal training at Five Dock. After a year of reformer Pilates even though I love the classes I didn’t lose... any weight. What I was missing is the app which tracks calories and hold you accountable for training and most important someone to take you through the training correctly. Matt my personal trainer has been wonderful and seeing the results after each week has been motivating and kept me on track to achieving my goals. I highly recommend them!See more "

About the owners

Marcus started in the fitness industry in his early 20’s and has worked in various roles. Most notably as a member of the Leadership Team at Vision Drummoyne. Progressing through the Vision Career Path Marcus was part of the Vision Drummoyne team that won the Vision Network Studio of the Year award 3 years running. Alongside Jennie, Alex & Daniel Marcus aims to create a welcoming & friendly atmosphere for all members of the studio and the local community.
