As we come into Autumn and enter the cooler months it can be harder to stay motivated to do the extra cardio needed to reach our weekly goals. But we can't let the darker, colder, wetter days stop us. This is where we can take advantage of the controlled environment of the studio by coming in 20-30mins before a session to run through our cardio program or booking in for group classes. There are many added benefits associated with participating in group classes;
- Motivation - It's inspiring and motivating to be surrounded by dedicated, like-minded individuals. It doesn't get much more empowering than a class with an encouraging instructor and supportive people all working hard together. Group fitness is a great way to help motivate yourself and others to dig deeper and push harder in workouts.
- Structure - Each class is structured with a warm up, conditioning phase and cool down so you can simply turn up and have fun.
- Accountability - Knowing that you could let your classmates down by failing to show up for your group exercise class can keep you from bypassing a workout. But participating in a group exercise class could also help you push yourself a little bit harder and just a little bit further, too.
- Social Benefits - One of the great advantages of participating in group exercise classes is easy to overlook but hard to ignore: it provides you with an opportunity to meet new people. Meeting new people in a group exercise class has many advantages but above all can help draw you to engage in physical activity when you may not have the energy to carry out a workout on your own. Knowing that you'll have the chance to learn about new people may be just what you need to help motivate yourself.
